Bold statement time: This batch of Foshomo is the best DIPA to have ever graced my lips.
Why Greg must you do this. I've been trying to hold off from asking for favors, but well I've got a Non std itch going on.

PSA: if you don't check out the BIF thread there is a Make a Wish - Shelf addition where folks list breweries they want to try until their wish is granted. When you grant a wish you then post your wishlist. Generosity reigns supreme and folks typically really do a nice job. I see BG and Dancing Gnome on so many wish lists. I grant when I can, but this is easy for someone to step in.

Upon some great reviews I ordered some coffee from them. They had stupidly fast shipping which was great. I felt the coffee I ordered was just ok. Plan to give them another shot with different beans.

Selection looks pretty good and prices are more than reasonable. May I ask what you got and why you underwhelmed. This sounds awesome so just want to get an idea where my expectations should be

Second such reference. What is a Jake from the 90s?

Local trader on BA, who, at least in my experience, has been found in Completed Trades threads (seemingly) pumping up trade value or posting lopsided trades, often involving Voodoo beers.

Looking at his profile just now, his FT:ISOs aren't awful, so maybe he's stumbled upon a periodic suppressant for shitlordery.

I ordered from them and thought the same. I think Beans usually need a week after roasting to hit their stride. The coffee I made a week after the first one was sooooo much better. I really like their Ethiopian stuff, especially for cold brew. It has to be the fruitiest coffee I've had. Reminds me of Mosiac hops almost(Tons of berries and a real fruit salad feel). Also you can't beat 13$ a LB. No clue how their Dark Roasted stuff or Espresso stuff is though.

They don't let you guys know these things?!?

What guys

Don't you work there with all the world traveling you do with them?

Fruit of the Vine Chardonnay Barrels were used to age beans

His prices definitely can't be beat. He has a pretty big following around the US too.
