I would almost guarantee the Smythe would go to Fleury in a landslide, had things remained the same. Could Geno have won it? Sure. Ill lay my opinion out for starting Murray, I think its sound.

MAF's play has dropped a touch this series, yeah he did have a shutout game 2, but he was barely tested. They went a 20 minute span without a shot between 2nd and 3rd, then had 3 shots the whole 3rd period.

MAF's puck handling I think has gotten a little iffy this series, and he has always been a guy that has trouble with unpredictable bounces and were seeing alot this series, especially game 3 because Ottawa's boards are so springy.

Murray handles those kinds of pucks much better, and as soon as he stepped in game 3 he seemed to be very much a calming influence, and I think thats something you need right now. Also I think youve gotta hope this puts a little bit of a jump in their step, they have to come out and play well in the 1st tonight.

With all that said, I think their chances of winning tonight are about equal with either goaltender.
