You're right. Mediocrity is generous.

You're right. Mediocrity is generous.

I preface by saying that Julius and Lights On are the only two Tree House beers I've had.

But expectation (hype) vs reality, Julius was the most disappointing beer I've had since I got into craft. That might be my fault for what I built it into in my head, but it didn't really work for me at all.

All that being said, it's not gonna stop me from stopping there again in the fall on the way back from VT... Because I'm a sucker.

It's funny because Julius is probably the closest they'll have to a flagship beer, but it's probably the weakest offering I've had from them outside of Bright. Everything else they make is God-tier (Green, Very Green, King Julius, Hazy, Very Hazy, Doppleganger, Alter Ego).

Green, Very green, king and very hazy are all bucket list beers for me. So jealous youve had so many lol

Since we like polarizing breweries today, which category do JO's sours fall into for you? Asking for a friend

To be completely honest, I think their sours are hit or miss. I realize that's non-committal, but I don't feel strongly either way about their sour beers. I've had some fantastic ones, and some that were not so great. It's their BA booze bombs that I mostly crave.

You make friends with this group and I'm sure you'll start crossing this **** off in no time

We like to share.:D

Tree House is good. BG is better. For serious.

Revisionist history, but if WVU wins that game, the Mountaineers destroy Ohio State in the Natty, DickRod stays, Terrelle Pryor commits, and who knows. Crazy how that one game basically changed everything.

I will say that Pat White was one of the best college football players I've ever watched.

any of you hit beers of the burgh or try any of the collabs from pcbw?
I never got around to any :(

Also, any thoughts on Apis mead? My lady knows the owner and we always have their stuff. I love it.

Hopped pineapple is my favorite.

Thanks for bumming me the **** out, Jeevo. As if Chris Cornell dying today wasn't enough.

Yeah youre probably correct on all of that. Its mind boggling.

But Ive moved past it.

I just want one WVU national title before I die.

I love Holgo too. SOOOOO glad he got an extension. **** every hater. Most of our fanbase are a bunch of idiots that know nothing about how college football works.

I didn't either and I don't have a sad about it.

I like Dave. He's a good dude. I like my mead more like this, though:
