I think we know what Peyton's answers would be.

My wife is a teacher. She has stacks of free pan pizza vouchers.

Pretty sure last night I overheard her on a phone call trying to negotiate a trade of pan pizza vouchers for lularoe leggings.

Crooked bitch. I love her.
ISO: lambic FT: stacks of pizza hut vouchers

on that note, i remember seeing some ridiculous trade offers for that olive garden unlimited pasta card, so maybe this isn't far off.

Is there literally anywhere for more than like two cars to park at DG? The one day that I went there were maybe 5 people inside and I had to parallel park in the one and only on-street spot I saw open. How are they going to handle parking for any sort of crowd?

There's an entire neighborhood to park in.

Infinite Highway will not be released today due to a specific piece of equipment meltdown, per their email a few minutes ago.

Well, that sucks. Looks like BG as usually for me tonight, can't say no to Guacho and Albatross. Here's the rest of the post....

Quick note for today.

Unfortunately, due to a meltdown of a specific piece of equipment on the line, we're unable to package Infinite Highway today.

Lustra is packaged and ready to go and we'll still have that for sale at 4 today, along with Infinite Highway on draft for anyone interested.

The part needing replaced is being overnighted, and I'm hopeful that we'll be able to packaging IH tomorrow for release when we open. I'll keep you posted throughout with updates as to weather or not this batch is seeing cans.

Again, Lustra is canned and ready for sale, so the show goes on.

Hope to see you tonight!

Back to back nights of line-waiting???? You lucky bastards!

What's not on the menu at Domino's? Abortion. However, you can get a pizza covered with Chick Filet chicken, ground meat from Carl's JR, hash-browns from Waffle House and crinkle cut fries from White Castle. Unless youre gay of course.

Gays aren't allowed to enjoy chicken on Sundays.

Gratitude Releases April 1
It's one of our favorite days of the year, the day we say thanks to you... with Barleywine! And we've got some special surprises lined up too. This is shaping up to be one of our biggest Gratitude release days ever, and that's no joke (see, because it's April Fool's day, but we're serious, heh). And "biggest" because it's looking like we've got a BUNCH of other bottles and cans to add to the mix.

We'll have some special big beer flights that day to enjoy here, and our pals from Blue Sparrow foods will be here serving great grub. Hold tight...this is gonna be big. Let us know if you're coming here.

Releasing April 1:
  • 2016 Gratitude Barleywine in 22oz bottles, wax dipped
  • 2016 Bourbon Barrel Aged Gratitude Barleywine in 16oz cans
  • TBA Another Beer #1
  • TBA Another Beer #2
  • TBA Another Beer #3
  • TBA Another Beer #4... 5? 6?

I never tried last year's cans and I was still living there. That's saying something as I have always loved that beer.

To me a very similar beer is AtG London Balling - 16oz can of high quality American BA Barleywine - and it's literally half the price. Gratitude is certainly not twice as good as that beer.

Lustra cans were good but I got two complaints. The price is very high IMO, YMMV, GFY. And I don't know if it was just freshly heat treated, but the shrinkwrap label on the cans has a real nasty smell so you definitely gotta pour into a glass.

Do you think $16 for a growler fill is a very high price? That seems pretty standard to me around these parts.

That sucks about the labels, but I think 14-16 is about normal for smaller breweries doing 4 16oz cans. Maybe it's just the places I've been to that are smaller. I always want it to be Alchemist pricing at 12.50, but it usually never is.
