I used to live off Mt. Royal and visited that GE frequently, it was great when Randy worked there, besides the time he hoarded the whole CBS case for himself, but that's a different story. My parents live off of Bfield so I'm up there fairly often, so once I get the case we can meet up if you'd like.
I got 1 bottle. Fuuuuuucccckkkk. The rest went I don't know where. Although, I learned a lot from that release. Ffffffffffuuuuuuuuxccccccckkkkkk. I love CBS but hope they never bottle it again.

Any of your northerners try Khun's on McKnight across from Oriental Market?
They have a pretty impressive bottle shop. Carry on.

Seriously? I've not been in that store for years. I presume you're being sarcastic though.
If im thinking of the right one it def has a nice little bottle shop with potential. But selection and turnover is on par with every other non randy GE in the area. From my experience at least.

Interesting. I've probably not been in that store for 5-6 years.

It's definitely no SSMD, but I still think its better than most other MDs. The girl who runs it actually cares about craft beer and knows what she's talking about which is more than I can say for most of them.

Its newish.. I think they opened it over this past winter.. They were enthusiastic about it at first and had a good selection when i first visited. The last time i was there the selections were less than fresh though..

Good to hear. I'll have to give it another go! The kid i first talked when it opened seemed enthusiastic but utterly clueless.

Caliente's next Collaboration beer is with Hoppin Frog. I guess they are done with Pittsburgh breweries already?
Hey, who isn't? Right, everyone?!

All this Nimble Giant talk has me thinking that I need to swing by Hershey on my way up to Central PA this weekend.

I stopped buying Nugget Nectar and Perpetual, but hopefully NG will help me to love Troegs again.

I can tell you that I am not a Nugget Nectar fan (honestly didn't get a lot of flavor from it) but NG is one hell of a beer. Nice play between the pine and citrus.
