Do you think it would be better on tap? I'm not sure I've ever had an American IPA that I've enjoyed more on cask. And I love cask ale.

I honestly think that the cask is better than the draft version of that batch. The hop aroma is pretty pungent IMO for cask, much more so than draft. I honestly cannot recall a cask of IPA that has had more hop aroma, toot toot mf. Beer still needs some work for sure but I am pretty happy about it. kbuzz thanks for trying it and the feedback, hope you give a shot again.

This was on the ceiling of a bar in Galway (Ireland, yinzers) tonight.

Which one of you ******** did this?

I also missed game 6 of the Stanley cup final. No one tell me what happened, it's on the Dvr

Who's gonna buy a can of BA Gratitude and actually drink it is the better question. Everybody who has any interest in it this go round seems to be for trading purposes. Seriously, if you can turn stakem off from this release you done ****** up.

Yep only reason I bought it last year was for trades this year I am done trading so I might never step foot inside east end again

I've never bought any iteration of Grat specifcally for trades but I enjoy it(with some time on it) and people are appreciative when they receive it as an extra. I've been to everything Gratitude since '07 and I have zero interest in this release.

I would be interested in hearing others thoughts on Gratitude. I really liked the earlier versions of it. 05-07 were, and still are awesome. Every time I've had the 08 forced carbed it was also right up there. From that point on though I don't get the same impression. I know those years haven't hit their stride yet, but I don't get the feeling they will. What do some of you younger guys think? How many of you have even had the earlier vintages?

I was thinking the exact same thing. Dude loves his Gratitude...

I know all Yinz guys really like your hops and all..... but Panzerfaust is probably the best Kolsch I've ever had. Incredible saltine cracker Pils character with some floral almost lemony hop notes. Just absolutely astounding.

That being said....

Akamai, Trainwreck, GB and Loose Seal we're amazing as well.

Loose Seal is really getting some awesome Brett aromatics kicked up.

Everytime I stop by that place I am blown away a little more..

(end circle jerk)

thanks as always ZachBrewGentlemen Rjdillman brewgentlemen

Someone posted a pic of 2014 ba great next to 2015 ba great and they are completely different colors. One is orange and one is brown. Gotta be different recipes right?

This is pretty spot on. 05-08 are really tasty. 08A, 09, and 10 will never be any good. 13-14 are still too young for my liking but 14 has a better chance than 13 does. The Flatitude years are actually pretty nice if you have the ability to carb them but not many can do it.

Can you post the picture? Had a year old forgotten Pliny next to a fresh one two weeks ago and they looked like completely different beers.

Here's the picture I saw. Apologies if it doesn't work. I never posted a picture on here. Thats a pretty ******* serious color difference.

It's two completely different beers. I had both BA vintages and they were very similar in color to the dark one on the right.

Ok. Seemed ridiculous to me. Someone posted it on the pgh craft beer fb page. That other pic posted on here from untapped look similar too.

Happy Father's Day to all the fathers in the group. Hopefully you are all able to enjoy a beer in peace. Cheers!
First Father's Day here. Pretty weird to be on the receiving end ;). Drinking a Rhinegeist B Side right now, while the ribs are slow cooking and listening to old man music. And my birthday was yesterday so the wife has been extra nice to me, which is odd. Cheers beer bros.
