Liked primarily for Audrey Plaza's inability to keep it together throughout that gif.

Something about them is turning me off lately and it's not the beer itself. I've just got no desire to go down there to buy anything.

I think it might be the fact that the owners public persona rubs a lot of us the wrong way. And to top it off, the release that we all look forward to is switched to cans and the price point is a big FU.

I have a problem with their beer. It is not good. I'd even argue that it has gotten a lot worse over the years.

I was referring to DL, not EE. I now realize how confusing that was. haha

I don't have any desire to give EE money either, but the reasons there are much easier to pin point.

I've found that I don't really end up at draai laag anymore, as well. It wasn't really a decision, it just happened. I guess they just haven't been making beers that appeal to me right now.

Just seems to me like they always want to run before they walk. Maybe dial in the consistent quality of your normal beers before you charge $50 a plate to debut your sour vanilla ice cream beer? I don't know.

Maybe I'm still used to Chicago prices or something, but $50 for two bottles of beer and drafts and dinner is actually pretty reasonable to me. (Not speaking on the quality of the beer since I haven't had it).

Yeah I'm not really saying it was too expensive. Just the whole thing.

On the flip side, I respect what they did. They made an "experience" out of a bottle release. There is a big push back by craft breweries right now to try and curb the secondary sales market. Some are doing "you can only drink on premise" releases (which is pretty cool) and others are laying down the ban hammer on those caught selling. I view what DL did as a cool way to make a personal experience out of a beer release. Price point aside, if someone is going to spend $50 on a dinner they are less likely to sign up if their only intention was to resell.

I am not saying that was the reasoning behind DL's dinner, but wouldn't blame them if it was.

Any releases coming up in the next 2 weeks or so? Thinking about heading to Pitt to catch game 5 of the Cup finals on June 9th. Anything I should be looking for on my trip over from Toledo?

Also, I've been told I need to hit up Police Station Pizza. Is it some legit eats or what?

Don't bother; Pens in four.

Edit: But, srs, Benny Fierro's in Southside is good pizza. Don't know if they let dogs smoke in there tho.

Hey that would be cool with me.. Hoping for Pens in 5 so I can see it there. Kinda ****** how there's no Fri/Sat games in Pitt. That would be legit. Was in Chicago last year when the Hawks beat the Predators in game 6 in the first round. **** was crazy, can't imagine what a Cup win would be like.

Just looked Benny Fierro's up, looks legit too. I'm sure if they let drinking babies in they would let a smoking dog in.

Nothing better then a cup game been a season ticket holder since 08 so been to some cup games and it is amazing. Best game I ever been to was game 6 when stall scored short handed.

Jacks. On 11th and Carson. They would probably allow both of these things anything.

Funny thing is, I have actually heard of this place lol.

Just watched that goal again. Staal was my favorite player back then... You don't know how happy I was that we won the rematch in the finals.. Living in Toledo with all these Wings fans is awful. 10/10 would not recommend.
