Didn't this all start because you decided to **** on someone's trade for no particular reason? It's funny to see the narrative spin and the 'them vs. us' mentality.
Had that trade been posted on ba guess where it would have been discussed here? There's a mentality over here but It's not perceived the way you think it is.

Looks to me like one or two guys joined quite recently and almost immediately figured out how to push everyone's buttons. ;)
That can't be it. The established membership here is far too advanced for something that simple to have occurred. Some of them have been doing this internet forum thing since '99.

It's those #newinternet guys from 99 ruining forums for us old late 80s early 90s guys

I would love to hear your pre conceived notions of me........ If for nothing else than to make me LOL.... If not...
its cool bro. I assumed you lived in Delaware and drank loons all the time with Ryan from DFH at Henlopin oyster Hause...

Haha I don't even know what I was getting at with that post. I had to refresh the ol' memory a bit this morning when I woke up. I just had you pegged as a guy who only drank hoppy beers and that's it. Nothing worse. That's why I was surprised you liked lagers.

I ain't no 'Loon baller either. But the Henlopen Oyster House is great. I'm like an hour and 10 mins from there.

Sometimes it's better not to have several beers and catch up on an out of control TB Thread.

In others news, tonight a lovely woman from Berlin informed me that only 16 year olds and ******* drink Berliner Weisse.

So, take that, beer nerds.

If some broad from berlin wants to call me a pussy because i drink berliners by the gallon in the summer, im fine with that. I think there are some things lost in that translation though. I could be wrong but in berlin those same people are adding sugar syrups to the beer to take the tart edge off.

That same lovely woman probabky thinks all Americans are ******* too because everyone outside the US knows we drink nothing but Bud Miller and Coors.

Where can I get Berliner weisse by the gallon this summer?

Asking for a friend.

Unless you mean your homebrew

There's been an ongoing Pittsburgh forum there for quite some time. It's inhabited by maybe 6 members.

Ha really I hate that site and how it looks

Orbis is super close, second this.

Was also going to add that you might be able to swing by Insurrection on your way back to 79N.

Could do Hitchhiker-->Orbis-->Trader Joes-->Target-->Insurrection-->north of the Wall, back home to the White Walkers.

Not a bad idea. We have to go to ge too but not sure the abbreviation to the one close to hitchhiker

If the kids arent miserable

What exit should I use to get to hitchhiker from 79 to avoid driving through pittsburgh? And will it save me time?

Seems like Insurrection is off exit 57 or 55 which seems like I could use that to get to hitchhiker

So i went to beers of the burgh. Our general consensus was that almost every new brewery was legitimately terrible. Sorry if any of you guys are reading this, but I think it's time to read some brewing basics books. There seem to be way more people with money than brewing skill these days.

On the bright side, hitchhiker's beers have greatly improved. Brew gentlemen was great. Helicon does not get lumped in with the rest of the new guys, they were fantastic all around. Roundabout great as always. Rock bottom was great as well.

We aren't talking about this right now we are trying to get me to south hills as easy as possible. Please wait.

It seems from pictures there were like 10 new breweries I never heard of. Are any of them actually opening anytime soon

That sucks most of them were ******

Google maps gives you the quickest route with current traffic conditions. If you're coming from the north, probably 279 through ft Pitt tunnels on a Sunday.

It was a shame. I don't get it cause I don't think brewing at least average beer is that hard of a process. I must have dumped 30 samples last night.

I didn't even bother to ask when most were opening. Abjuration said July 2017.

So you think Google wouldn't lie to me? It's telling me 279.....but I'm weary.

That's a shame. They will get weeded out hopefully. I saw some one post a picture of what looked to be a dirty couch for couch brewery. Do they carry that everywhere?

Google maps is usually 95% accurate. It's Sunday and they cancelled all the construction this weekend. You'll be fine.

I didn't see the couch. We didn't stick around long enough after tasting their "beer". It tasted like dishwater.

You could. Can't recall the exits clearly, but would probably jump off 79 at 376, through Greentree to get to Hitchhiker. Then down 19 to Target, etc. and probably either Gilkeson or Fort Couch to Kelso to 50 (Insurrection) before hitting 79 again, at exit 57.
