What happens at beer camp...Yes, and I dont trade often, but this might interest me as long as I don't have to get raped.

Hazy as ****. Should do well.
Sam Adams is now using the word Hazy in their commercials on TV.
A not so glowing review of the food but props to the beer at Insurrection - http://www.pghcitypaper.com/pittsbu...ively-beer-and-sandwiches/Content?oid=1919979
I'm planning on making a trip to GEMDH2O specifically for that this afternoon.darehulk112 can you try the TCBWTEDIPA and let me know how it is while you are there today
Eh, nobody thinks of Insurrection as a "restaurant" or food destination. I've heard good things about the food there, but it's all been from beer people who go for the beer. If I'm going to check out a small, new-ish brewery & they have something more than cheeseballs to eat, I won't complain.A not so glowing review of the food but props to the beer at Insurrection - http://www.pghcitypaper.com/pittsbu...ively-beer-and-sandwiches/Content?oid=1919979

Also, Insurrection just tapped Super Galaxy Sasquatch again.
Any of you ninjas ever order Belgians online? I was thinking about trying to order some stuff for Father's Day, but the only site who's selection interested me much was Trappist World and the shipping was $130. Hard pass.
Just buy him a 12 pack of this gem, problem solved.

Me and thebouch01 ordered a full box from http://www.bieresgourmet.be/catalog/ a couple weeks ago. The selection at Trappist World is better but the bottles are at least $5 more expensive. You pretty much have to fill an entire box (cutoff around 35lbs or 11x 750's) to make shipping worthwhile @ $90US.Any of you ninjas ever order Belgians online? If you're going to a new brewery & the food is "ok"...On the other side of that, food can make it a lunch or dinner destination for a lot of people. How many times does food get mentioned when talking about Fat Heads? Every time I am back in MI I stop at Founder for lunch because I love the sandwiches. I love going to Gyro's n'at down at BG. I would go to those places a lot less if they didn't have good food options.
I don't shrug off "ok" food like you guys do I guess.
The world wide demand is so crazy that you really have to get lucky to get anything super rare for the US these days. You can find some stuff on Etre for a decent price that you will enjoy. I think the days of ever find Fou online are over.Any of you ninjas ever order Belgians online? I order from belgium in a box a few times a year. Past two shipments have arrived in under 10 days. Prices (including shipping) are cheaper than buying lambic around here as long as you fill up the box (30kg). They have some oddball stuff and cool glassware too.Any of you ninjas ever order Belgians online? I ordered from biab and most recently from etre. bought 9 375s of cantillon, 4 750s of fantome, 3 375s of 3f and a loon glass came to $240. 16 beers and a glass. Figure it to cost 15 per beer and the glass was free lol.
Where are you going to find loons for $15 here.
Definitely hurts the wallet when you order but totally worth it
Edit: my biab order was 18 750s og Girardin Gueze came to 13 a bottle, on the shelves in ohio 375 of girardin costs 14
My mom lives outside of Wilmington. I'll PM some info, there's a killer bottle shop in wrightsville beach called "lighthouse". I stocked up on mead and growlers of Prairie Bomb there last summer. They charged me 13 for the growler fill. Well worth the wrightsville traffic.
Edit: first place I'd seen bottles of de cam lambic stateside in years, but it wasn't cheap.
I looked at BIaB but the selection isn't very good right now. Does it change pretty frequently?
Just got to GEMDH2OWX & you know what? NFCBWTHEDIPA!!!Report back
