I actually got this. Guess I got lucky? Really wanted to try the loons, and I'm sure the rest I'll get down somehow.

That's awesome. It was a little more than I wanted to spend. I was hoping to keep my total transaction under $200 and that was over before the shipping.

Awesome stuff though. Enjoy!

What bottles were included and what was the total cost if you don't mind me asking?
  • Lindemans Blossomgueuze 75cl
  • Lindemans SpontanBasil 75cl
  • De Troch Oude Kriek 37.5cl
  • Hanssens OudBeitje 37.5cl
  • Hanssens Experimental Raspberry 37.5cl
  • Cantillon Vigneronne 75cl
  • Cantillon Saint-Lamvinus 75cl
  • Lindemans Apple 37.5cl
  • Cantillon Fou Foune 75cl
  • De Cam Kriek-Lambiek 75cl
  • Mad Jerez 37.5cl
  • Timmermans Pêche Lambicus 25cl
  • Chapeau Citron 25cl
With shipping it was 291 euros. I told the wife just to forget about Father's Day and my birthday this year.

Throwing out likes it's going out of style. Thanks for the responses, and that's a nice looking box chefduff. Awesome to see Cantillon bottles like Fou Foune and St. Lamvinus available (albeit with purchasing stipulations).

Anyone catch this?

Cans tho...

This would've been the perfect "can waxing" opportunity. You done ****** up, Scott.

Haha...true about cans.

Maybe that red looking "liquid" is supposed to be wax at the top? And each year it will be a different color?

That's not a terrible deal. I'd look forward to drink spontanbasil, blossomgueuze, de cam kriek, and mad jerez in addition to the cantillons.

Yeah... Gratitude packaging was sooo sweet. Who else did the paper? I know it was probably a huge pain in the ass but it also made it special.

They should really return to that format as it made me feel better about the price point.

Exactly. I'm not the biggest EE fan but that packaging was truly top shelf. I was sad to see it go.

I hated the packaging on Gratitude last year compared to the older years. They should stick with the paper and the birds.

preluderl There is a volume deal on Belgium in a Box right now that you would probably be interested in. I bet it sells out quickly, despite the **** beer that they are making you buy in the package.

Not cheap, but a lot better that the BS prices on Trappist World.

I ordered the Girardin Volume Deal when it could be shipped to the US. It was only 99 Euros at the time too now its 150 and can't be shipped to USA

The rest of the stuff sounds good though too

Does Trappist World deliver to Pennsylvania? I keep getting an error saying that no carrier will deliver to my address... It's not a PO box or anything like that.

Yea pretty sure thats supposed to be wax, and doubt they change it. I didnt get any BBG last year, but wasnt that the color of the wax on the bottles?

$1 an oz probably is a little high, curious to see what this years version is like compared to last years. Speaking of last years, anyone crack a bottle recently? How is it drinking?
