Would not order: Woodchuck, Purple Haze, Shandy, or the 21A or NB watermelons
Would be very interested in: Funky Jewbelation, Rye Rebellion, Church, Watermelon Dorado (I'm actually pretty intrigued a watermelon DIPA)
Would happily get: Duck Rabbit, Breakfast Stout, Pine Drops, Kentucky Race Day, Space Cake, 2 Hearted
Would settle for: The Konas, Shiner

AND LET THE RECORD SHOW--
RFL's take on Founders Breakfast Stout: 2/10, would not drink.
I missed the breakfast stout. A little bit late on that beer. I'd drink that.

Tried the NB Watermelon (awful), Watermelon Dorado (hops were in a huge fight with the fake watermelon taste, not good) and Space Cake (haven't had this in some time, didn't like very much).

Duck Rabbit wasn't on tap and I know there was probably 2 or so other different beers. But all I would buy from that current list is a growler of Two Hearted. I'd like to try the Church Extreme IPA.
That description of Watermelon Dorado is enough for me to not want it.

Don't know if it has been mentioned but congrats to Roundabout for winning Silver at the Wold Beer Cup:

Gold: Ninja Pirate, Black Lotus Brewing Co., Clawson, MI

And JuJu wins the Imperial IPA category.

troygreer was wrong - there are THREE watermelon beers on at GEMDH2O! Still, though, there's plenty of good stuff on here to pick from. I've been wanting to give that Church DIPA a try.

EDIT: 3 out of 18 = 17%

I'm sure ChurchBrewCrew can clarify but I'm pretty sure it goes Pale Ale, IPA, DIPA, Triple IPA, something I'm missing, Extreme IPA in the BJCP handbook

But I do need to get down to church sometime soon been too long

It's totally extreme, bro! Goes to eleven, and all that other stuff.

The full name is actually The Church Brew Works Thunderhop Extreme Double IPA or TCBWTEDIPA if you need to post to the trade forum.

It's a double IPA with Azacca late kettle hopping and Galaxy dry hops.

Terrible name, pretty good beer. At least that's what we think.

Lemme know when it's pulling Tree House cans FT. Until then, it doesn't really even matter.

Ice cream stout? Pass.

I want something interesting. Like, I dunno, a circus peanut beer! Any brewers innovative enough to pull off something like that?

Would probably have to be a small, innovative, nanobrewery...

Yep. There is the beer I was alluding to in my post a few weeks back. In all it's glory.

I keep close tabs on what Beaver Brewing is up to. Not because I want to ever try their beer again. I just keep close tabs.

I wonder if Bullfrog has anything planned release wise in the near future. I haven't heard a peep from them since the last Grrrz event, and this is usually the time they have their first bottle release of the year.

Whoa, whoa, whoa there, son!

Did you ever see this?

Haha, but that record doesn't top At Action Park or Terraform. Actually that was probably the least listen to record for me. 1000 Hurts came out during my sophmore year in college and I listened to that album a ton, even though it was kinda repetitive.

Edit: Math rock? Really? They aren't really math rock.

Is Grrrz worth seeking out? I've never paid much attention there.

The reputation of these beers has taken a hit due to a number of circumstances, but I think that the beers are absolutely worth seeking out, especially since it's probably very easy to acquire them these days. I've had every bottle that's been released, and outside of the Crime of Passion that was thrown in there, they've all been great. I would love to see Et tu Brut get released again.

And for the cheap cheap price of $59.99, you can pick up the unfruited Grrrz variant at Caliente. :D
