Seriously though, what exactly did they do to make you have a bad experience? I'm sure they would want to know if you were treated poorly.
The bartenders have been civil at best and overtly condescending at worst. They act like you should be honored to drink their beer and be in their presence. It is just very cliquey. They seem to spend all their time bull-shitting with people who are there all the time praising them about how unique and progressive their stupid beer names are. ie: "Eventually We All Just Fade Into The Grey Oblivion" "Freedom From The Known" "Imagination Of Ourselves". I like Bill Hicks as much as the next guy.. but seriously?

The first time I went I asked for 2-3 4oz samples, the dude rolled high eyeballs out of his head (instead of just explaining why they don't do that). They only serve one at a time for "optimum temperature" which I would get if they served the beer at the right temps, but they don't (stouts are ice cold). Again it's fine they do that, but don't act like I'm some kind of pleb for even asking.

Tried both times when I visited to try and strike up a conversation just about the beer in general, and they literally just stare at you and walk away. Such a weird vibe in that place.

What'd you drink last night?

More importantly, what did you wake up with on your face? And was it pre- or post-digestion?

Tequila and Chillwaves. I think i ate 4 limes last night. I'm having a citric acid flashback right now.

Didn't take any food to bed though, or water, cause i'm a ******* genius, so i feel like a giant bag of used turds.

Ended up at Sharp Edge McMurray last night, because of a nearby appointment and time constraints. Had not eaten there in some time, so thought not a bad idea to see if the food is still awful. Read the menu and thought the burgers looked fine--my brother ***** up everything on the grill and he can make a passable burger.

Had the Piggy Back: ground bacon blended with ground pork and topped with smoked gouda. The patty had to have been a frozen premade and was tough like turkey bacon; smoked Gouda was thin slice that tasted like my napkin. There was lettuce and it had the honor of being the most distinct part of every bite. Kids got pizzas and they would elevate microwave pizzas to a new level of desirability.

Never again.

Man, that's a shame. Back in the day they had such good food, at least the Friendship location did.

The one downtown is getting way too much competition around it with far superior food.

I like that brick oven spot downtown, they got bacon candy and this pizza called The Forest that is my jam.

"What can I get you to eat, sir?"
"One pierogi."
"...ok"

"served on a cardboard Pabst NA coaster please."

Wish my reaction was for humor or hyperbole, but it's just anger when thinking about how bad the food was. Like could've had two beers to replace those calories wasted on that **** food. Well, had two beers, so like two more beers.

Proper.

Bakersfield and Sienna Mercato are both within a stones throw of Sharp Edge as well and they both blow it out of the water.

Don't know Bakersfield, but i've definitely enjoyed a meatball grinder down at Sienna, mushroom gravy bro.
