I know this can be annoying, but I'll be in Pittsburgh for the early morning/afternoon on May 11. Was wondering what I should do for sure/places to stop.

Thus far I have:

1) Primanti Bros (tourist trapp'n)
2) The Church Brew Works.

Any definite stops I should make?

Thanks and <3

Definitely not annoying. This is a great way to find places. Check out insurrection ale works just Southwest of the city near 79.

People rag on Primanti's and although I rarely go there on a regular occasion, I love going there when I have out of town guests. $9 for an Iron City and a big ass sandwich is always gonna be good in my book. Try a Double Capp, good eatin'
The egg and cheese is always a hit with the vegetarians too

Feels weird reposting tweets, emails, insta, etc. from Voodoo or BG on here, because of their presence in the forums--in fact the only reason to risk getting PSUMike 's CJ gif would be to make sure kbuzz gets the information, because he can't figure out other social media.

So, just for Kevin's sake: Voodoo insta'd a pic of 4 Roses barrels.

Philistines.
My spiel on Radiohead is that they are the musical equivalent to 2001: A Space Odyssey - beautiful, epic, cold, boring.
SNL is the comedy equivalent of Bob Pollard - the prolific, disposable nature is kind of the point, & there are occasionally really brilliant things that emerge.

Now don't go dragging 2001 into this Nate. We are going to end up in an internet war.

While I don't agree with the second two statements you made about the band, I can sorta understand your opinion.

I haven't listened to Radiohead in years. There was a phase during my college / pot smoking days when I listened to them almost everyday. "How to Disappear Completely", "Fake Plastic Trees", and "Let Down" were always my favorite tracks (all from different albums I believe). I can't believe they're still making music.

You're the equivalent of a dude who likes nothing ever.

I think I've given Radiohead a fair shot. I've owned their first five albums (& have since sold them). I was surrounded by Radiohead fans throughout college. I used to be in a band that covered Radiohead (poorly). I like so much peripheral to them: The Pixies, Bowie, shoegazer stuff. They just do nothing for me. They do make cool videos, though, & I'd much rather watch their videos than listen to their music.

Now all we need is someone to bring up Tool and I'll have to pull out my circlejerk gif again...
Ugh, now there's a band that I actively dislike.

Cats are the equivalent of dogs, except they suck.

Monty Python is the equivalent of Kids in the Hall, except it came first, is way better and it's popularity is sustainable.

The upright bass, unless being played by that dude in Soul Coughing, is the equivalent of session beer - outdated and would not be missed by the world at large if it were to disappear.

Hala Kahiki is the equivalent of Dole Pineapple Juice, except I can drink Dole without gagging...
