I know this can be annoying, but I'll be in Pittsburgh for the early morning/afternoon on May 11. Was wondering what I should do for sure/places to stop.

Thus far I have:

1) Primanti Bros (tourist trapp'n)
2) The Church Brew Works.

Any definite stops I should make?

Thanks and <3

Great Beer Stops:
Brew Gentlemen
Voodoo
Fat Heads

I'll be at Voodoo in Meadville the night before, so that's on the list. Forgot about Fat Heads and if Brew Gentlemen is open definitely stopping.

The Gents usually have a great food truck and it looks like PGH Taco Truck will be there (much better option than Primantis if you ask me)

BG does not open till 5 but if u can make it that night I believe that is when they r releasing a couple new ipas.
Yeah I don't know if I can make it till 5pm (driving back to North Jersey), but if we can I definitely want to.

Primanti's is just a tourist bucket list tick I guess haha

Understand completely. I had a friends in town last year and 9/10 of us went to Thin Man's downtown but we had the one that "had to finally try Primantis".

Feels weird reposting tweets, emails, insta, etc. from Voodoo or BG on here, because of their presence in the forums--in fact the only reason to risk getting PSUMike 's CJ gif would be to make sure kbuzz gets the information, because he can't figure out other social media.

So, just for Kevin's sake: Voodoo insta'd a pic of 4 Roses barrels.

Edit: Realize that historically, I've (re)posted Fat Heads or maybe Troegs media on here (or BA), but their forum absence make me feel less icky about it. So there.

People rag on Primanti's and although I rarely go there on a regular occasion, I love going there when I have out of town guests. $9 for an Iron City and a big ass sandwich is always gonna be good in my book. Try a Double Capp, good eatin'

I agree it is what it is but try to find a better deal in town then their family pizza night pizza drinks and salad for 20$ can't beat it

Not judging or denying value. Just like to maintain beer consumption without adding the lbs.; try to be very deliberate of what I eat--if I'm going to cheat with food, it's got to be something I really like.

My brother always insists on going there when he's in town too.

Feel u on that I think to be in good shape but can drop anymore weight bc of beer. Plus I hate cardio so that doesn't help much.

I can't be bothered with all this beer talk when we have new Radiohead today!!!!!

That a sure thing, or just speculation still (based upon their online ghosting)?

Similar boat. Don't mind running, but kids (and pregnant wife) make it nearly impossible. Up at 4AM just to work out; sneaking in consistent outside running would be...it's not happening.
