I'm no President Business, H1KB has managed to do OK in New Ken so I'm guessing Voodoo will do OK out there as well.

H1KB has been there since "the beginning", though, and, on top of that, is not in downtown NewKen. It's in Parnassus. That may not seem like a big deal, but it kinda is. You can sort of make the comparison with Beermuda, as well, but, again, they've been there for a while and have a dedicated local clientele, a large number of which aren't craft beer drinkers.

Fair, but I'd say there will be people more in that neck of the woods who will welcome a Voodoo spot in New Ken that keeps them from driving to Homestead. I know I have a rep for not wanting to drive places (frick you OneDropSoup), but driving out to Homestead is truly, deeply awful.

I can't count how many times I've wanted to jerk the wheel and go flying off of the Homestead Bridge while sitting in that traffic. If they do BRC drops at the New Ken spot, I doubt I'd ever go back to the Homestead location.

You should start smoking lexipro pal, you need to relax.

You can smoke Lexipro?

They do seem to be growing at a rate that may be tricky to maintain though, so who knows.
If I remember correctly, voodoo takes on individual investors for these satellite pubs, so methinks new ken probably wasn't their first choice. I'd wager they'd open a taproom anywhere someone is willing to pony up.

Quiet in here given the recent releases. I miss some good old shitposting about the voodoo bg battle for east pgh supremacy.

Semi beer related:
Quite unlike my beer tastes, I'm a sucker for gimmicky novelty food and had to try the caliente greatest pizza in the solar system.
it was super salty, soggy, and not worth $30

The BG vs Voodoo argument raged on social media. Voodoo deleted a bunch of comments on their IG, so that was neat.

Not gonna lie, I am actually interested in hearing thoughts on BBA Very Thin Pancakes. I thought the base was tremendous.

So does DFH selling to Boston mean Vecenie loses them?

Do you think Ken Vecenie and Jim Koch lurk in this thread or are you actually expecting one of us dopes to be able to definitively answer that question?

Congratulations you played yourself gif.
