If you like spicy stuff, get whatever is the crazy hot flavor they have. Great combos of flavor, and pretty damn spicy, but just restrained enough you can keep eating them without extreme pain.

This is usually the way to go. Was there on Friday and they had a jalapeño version of their aleworks sauce and a Carolina reaper mustard barbecue. They both killed.

Dead around here lately. Anyone else excited for curmudgeons better half soon? I never got to try the old release but it sounds right up my alley and given the amount of founders releases we've been getting, it should be a shelf turd for years to come.

Another want of mine is rye on rye on rye. Has anyone seen that around?

Also, iron born pizza at smallman galley is money.

I'm ******* pumped for Better Half, got a keg years ago & it wonderful.

I see that BLVD stuff at whatever acronym Shadyside Giant Eagle is these days.

Iron Born is great, Michigan Trumbull might be better but the bar experience at Federal Galley is about the worst I've ever seen. That said, I'm at Federal about every other week for that pizza.

I haven't been offered Rye on Rye on Rye come up. I think that there is only Whiskey barrel aged rye on rye this year. I'll see if its available, if so I'll get a couple of cases out there.

I've never had either so that'll be greatly appreciated

Dancing Gnome poured at the beer fest I went to today.

The dudes pouring were about as pleasant as any I’ve experienced in their own brewery.

You can read into that what you will.

Also, to add something not quite as catty, Four Points Brewing from Charleroi poured at the fest. I was pleasantly surprised with their offerings. I had never heard of them before, but I’d definitely check them out if I ever find myself in that general area.

Given their following and quality, what reason do they have to put on some superfucial likeness?

On a side note, has anyone gotten any of the Cinderlands cans? Drinking the Mosaic Test Piece right now. Pretty damn good.

I've never had anyone at any Pittsburgh brewery treat me poorly, tbh.

But, I will say that it's been my experience that the bar staff at Hitchhiker Sharpsburg is generally the most outwardly friendly of the venues that I frequent.

Just went to Enix in homestead last night. No expense was spared. Really nice, if somewhat sterile, buildout. The beer was all low-abv styles, which offers a nice counterpoint to Voodoo down the street. Of the seven on tap, my favorite was the bitter (close second to the smoked porter), and my least favorite was the red IPA, but your results will almost certainly vary. Food menu looks good, but kitchen won't be up and running until Wednesday.
