Can't do it. Ricks is slipping. Food is great as always but my last two visits I ended up drinking water as the taplist was terrible and the bottles were old.

It's always funny when this happens.

"What would you like to drink?"

"Can I see your tap list please?"

"So, decide on what you want to drink?"

"I'll take a water."

^This is my usual dining experience. I go in with the mindset that I will be drinking water if I happen to find a decent beer it's a bonus.

If you find that you agree and can personally relate with those sentiments, might be a situation where a "like" could be appropriate? That little rush of dopamine (and maybe oxytocin) you are experiencing is indicative of a positive human connection being made. Congrats, man.

If i was POTUS there would be fresh Fat Tire or SNPA at every bar or restaurant on the planet. Yes the planet.

I'm beginning to think all of you are sleeping on the magic that is Butler. There is excellent bbq, pizza, wings, mexican, italian and two new breweries here. Butler is an unknown gem and should be THE destination for everybody.

haven' t been in like 10 years, but, there used to be an Outstanding hot dog joint on the main street.. outstanding like Angels Singing chili sauce on them

You are likely thinking of The Hot Dog Shop. It was one parcel off Main on East Jefferson and went out of business in 2004 as the building itself literally crumbled. It was outstanding. Butler Brew Works bought most of that block at the corner of Main and Jefferson and has since torn down the dilapidated buildings. You can still get the original chili and gravy at the Butler Hot Dog Shoppe that has two locations around town.

James already knows that I "like" everything he says. At my age, my dopamine(along with other organic fluids) production is pretty low.

Please excuse my dear aunt mothafuckinmultiquote-

Where is there good BBQ in Pittsburgh though?

Your belly can thank me later breh.
Clem's on RT 22. You're welcome.
.
I cant consider that Pittsburgh, but I do drive by it ~1/week and am always pissed that its closed when I drive by. Given your rec though, I'm definitely trying to make a stop.

i just bought a hat yesterday at that "workin mans clothing" or whatever you call it.
my first real Butler experience. Lunch rec's welcome, as I'm also there every two weeks or so.

If anybody wants to share some bottles (or just help drink some of mine), I'll be at kickbacks tonight around 8. Decided I'm going to start enjoying playing pinball too, so fully prepared to just drink and tilt if nobody shows.

When I was growing up, I ate too much of the hot dog sauce, and I got sick of it. Although now that I haven't had it in 10 years or so, I've been craving it something fierce.

If I ever trade with a Pittsburgher, my extras better be hot dog sauce and Isalay's "BBQ" sauce.

I want some but not available when they are open tomorrow. Thinking of doing JOs and Helltown next weekend though assuming they both last.

Roundabout has a new rye IPA hopped with Nelson and green bullet. It's super dank and turbid as ****. drgarage i think you need to try this one.

The raspberry Berliner kicked shortly after I got a pour. Not overly lactic and the fruit really shined. Steve's gose and Berliners are solid. I only wish the fruited versions could be sold to go.

I'm gonna try to get there next weekend but fuckkkkkkk any beer that I can't vaguely see through.

Had Wheelfish last night, was pretty unimpressed. The ribs were good, but nothing special. We got mac and cheese, slaw, pork and beans and cornbread muffins as sides. All left a good bit to be desired. I doubt we will go back.
