It's crazy how many places over in the Philly/NJ/NYC area use BeerMenus, and it's even more awesome with how up to date it is, even with the little podunk mom and pop shops. I took my first ever beer haul trip a few years back, and this website was the best help I could ask for. Bourbon County Cherry Rye, Bourbon County Coffee bombers, Parabola, Sucaba, a ton of Fantome beers, etc. were listed at numerous places.

I've been doing a little digging around because I am curious as to how PTF runs. It looks like they rely a lot on user input. For instance, Monk's Cafe website taplist was last updated on 5/30 while the PTF Monks taplist was updated 6/2 and they don't seem to use the Monk's FB page for taplist updates. This would be tough to rely on a user base but it sure is a lot better than nothing.

They also might have people who work near a lot of these locations and stop in every other day.

I think a lot of these "on tap" applications use a beer check in feed to deduce what is currently available at a place until a restaurant/bar actually starts paying them to manage it.

So in essence they things like Untappd kinda kill the idea of being able to monetize something like PTF

Anyone know if the blacklist caught anyone in meadville and homestead or just homestead? I didn't hear of anyone getting refused in meadville

Edit: Klay Aiken & Stephanie Curry suck balls

you can stop now, we decided to not to double up remember?

I'm actually rooting very much for the Cavs since I have no voodoo wagered. I'm tired of hearing that city whining constantly... "wah wah, we never win anything."

I'll throw em a bone for the sake of shutting em up...

Anyone know if "they" are screening the Pens game anywhere in public?

Like when you see footage of a crowd standing in a public plaza, watching theor team play the other conference.

Consol would suck. Maybe market square? Tryin'a get me a D&D up in this here bitch, see?

Maybe it's because the ******* city slickers will do anything to make a buck in this rat race, whereas the Meadville folks take life just a little easier and appreciate the values of the good old days.

Didn't the very first guy trying to sell MBP get it from Meadville? One of those Erie Better Beer dudes?

Guys...

I dont know of anywhere like this. They only do the outdoor screen at consol for home games if I remember correctly. You best bet would be an outdoor bar with tvs.

A little off topic and not at all helpful, but I saw a flyer at Roundabout for a series of outdoor movies in parks and parking garages around the city this summer. They used to do this in Chicago and it was a ******* blast.

Speaking of Roundabout no ones really talked about Intersection at all. Had a couple drafts of It last night and it's really good this year. I wasn't a huge fan of last years but this year the blend is less sour, a lot more brett character( will be fun seeing how It develops in the bottle since they are conditioning with Brett Drie) and more well rounded. A really nice blended wild ale.

I tried it on draft after driving back from NY and chugging Humboldt at like 9:50, but I remember it being awesome. I have a bottle I'll crack today. I remember the Brett Akaroa being really good like six months ago, picking up all those pineapple characteristics really nicely. All my friends really enjoyed it that I met there as well.

Yeah I keep bugging him to make the akaroa again. A 4% brett beer with spelt would be all I want to drink all summer, that and Berliner. Could even blend them in a keg. So much room for activities.

Sunday nights in the summer they screen movies at schenley park. We take the kids all the time. It's really fun. Pack a cooler and sometimes they have food trucks. I think they do it at a bunch of parks in the city.

Used to do this as well when I lived closer to the city. It's a great time.

It is considered copyright infringement for a non food or drinking establishment to show a sports broadcast on a screen larger than 55" without the express written consent of the copyright holder.

woo dawgy. Shaggy with the deetz.
Wonder how all those other cities always have that kind of thing goin on, when you see a clip "live from St. Louis" during an NBC broadcast or what have you. Granted some are canadian, so rules may differ. But I guess it makes sense. Still doesn't seem fair when I can't stream the game on my iPad via the NBCSN app, like I usually do, just because it's a playoff/cup game.

tldr: ISO- TV
