If you see a Barebottle History Lesson, drink it down!
One of my absolute go to beers in Germany, a fantastic pilsner. I haven’t seen it in the US at all.The bar I work at recently got a keg of Rothaus Tannenzäpfle Pils, which I’ve never seen on the west coast. It made me extremely giddy because it was a beer we drank a ton of in Berlin, but I wasn’t sure if it’d be as good as I remembered. Turns out it was even better than I remembered! What a perfect beer.
Didn't know it was reformulated but I had one last week and it was really tasty. Definitely a great "keep in the fridge for any day" beer.Has anyone tried Prima since it was apparently reformulated in the past few months? I was kind of bummed to hear it was changed at all, but it's kind of disappeared altogether in my area anyway so I was only ever able to revisit it (at least fresh) when traveling through Pennsylvania. The changes including lower bitterness are mentioned in this article.
How’d it compare to palatine?

X-post in DDT. Such a perfect Pilsner.

Store is empty right now I guess.
I don’t know how this won’t be a staple in my fridge all summer. So good.

The little corner pharmacy near my place carries pFriem pils, so I always grab another six pack when I'm running low.
Finally banged some pFriem pils a couple days ago. Confirmed sofaking good. Great hop presence and overall balance.
Since they started canning, it's never not been in my fridge. Just picked up another sixer on the way home today. Canned 5/2/19. It's too good.
$11.59What's the cost?
