For better or for worse, I've been given a Love Series 16C, which according to the manual has PID functionality as well as manual control. Does anyone know what I would also need in order to dial down the power during the boil? I see the option to select an output % and I think somewhere it's possible to adjust the cycle time. I'm just not sure if it is capable of handling the high frequency of cycling I'd need to achieve the desired boil, or what other components I'd need to prevent it from failing/blowing up. Compared to the widely available information on the Auberins PID and SSRs, Love doesn't seem to get much, er, love. I would be running this on 230V with a 4500W element in the BK.
Thanks for any help in advance.
