1) bottles should be cold
2) Unhook the CO2 and bleed most (but not all) pressure off the PRV

Good tips. Everybody tells you about 1 all the time, 2 not so much. I'll probably still forget.

How high of a pressure can the PT2.1 handle? can i use it at like 20-30 psi for seltzer water/soda without it leaking? sounds like people in general love it so i'm probably going to get at least one.

The instructions that came with mine say not to exceed 20 PSI.
