Exposure to oxygen caused the pellicle after you collected it. Looks nice BTW![]()

Dude you better believe it's fantastic. Great combo. I'll save a couple bottles for when we trade down the road.
in my perverted/weird mind, this looks like a cross between a carboy and a woman with a really, really low cut shirt... sweet cleavage!!!This is my first attempt at a Lambic. Its about 4 months into fermentation. I am using Wyeast 3278 - I've never had an infection is this right?

as to whether that "looks right", hard to tell from the pic. looks like that's still krausen from primary. how old is this batch?
post more pictures. lots of them, from different angles... maybe in a different shirt, or a bikini top...
i'll go back to my dark corner now.
nor am i, hence my call for others' advice, but mold was my concern too.I was thinking it looked kinda hairy. More mold-like than pellicle. Though I am no expert.
if it is a pellicle, it's too early to tell. that could well be nothin' but yeast. sounds like you decided to wait a while longer to confirm? if so, by opening it up like that you filled the headspace with oxygen - if there are pellicle-forming bugs in there they are likely to kick into high gear very soon. so in a week or two you should have a very definite answer! Is this a pellicle forming? Went to bottle today and thought... Betta not

Racked this guy today, primaried with WLP530, then racked onto an extra 1/2 gal of golden sour base.

lol, love the white scarf. THIS is what you call pellicle porn
that last pic is probably the best one for seeing the pellicle... if that is indeed what is. the fuzzy white stuff and the slimy appearance is not typical of pellicle i've seen.
anyone else have a concern about this bad girl?
