Built a three tier stand awhile ago from spare lumber.
It is kind of weathered now from being outside.
The new garage is almost done and will be the new brewery so it will be out of the elements.
I want to spruce it up so I was going to sand it down and give it a nice coat of paint.
Anyone have any recommendations on what kind of paint to use for a wood brewstand?
Would high temp paint, like BBQ or engine paint, work on wood?

Use a semi-gloss or gloss paint. It will be easier to clean. Look for the cheapest you can get. I used a close out hi gloss paint - $5 for a gallon.

Unless you think you will be burning the wood there is no need for Hi-heat paint. The BBQ spray paint is for metal. It would probably stick to the wood, but there is no need for it.

I used Kilz for a base coat then sprayed krylon over the top of that. I don't think you need to be too worried about the amount of heat with those burner arrangements.
