Outside of homebrewing, what do you guys do?

I had a job that allowed me to go outdoorsing once, but that was a long, long time ago. Now the only time I get to see that place is on the news so it sounds horrible. I can only assume this is what it looks like now:

I have almost achieved my goal of going to meetings for a living. Occasionally, I also attend classes and training. When one of my many actual jobs gets in the way, it usually involves wastewater treatment.

For fun, I kayak, fish, read, play video games and hang out here.

Your job sounds a lot like mine. I had a super long meeting today that ate up half of my shift. Still feel like today is going by so slowly. Only an hour and 15 minutes left!

Lawyer, partner at a fairly large firm. 4 kids 19 - 10; I run and do triathlons (although it has been a few years since my last tri). Between work, family, brewing and exercise - that is about it.

I'm a chef, I cut and burn myself for a living.

In my spare time, I ride atv's and am on the board of directors for my atv club. I also grow a lot of plants, some indoors and some outdoors. As a bonus, I have a boat and sometimes use it, as well as a lifted truck that I sometimes drive...

I make electricity. One megawatt at a time. But I work really fast.

Currently trying to sell a home so I can turn around and build one.
I'm ok with three bedrooms, one bath, and a total of five people and a dog, but everyone else is whining about it. So back in debt I go..... But in the meantime, I have to pack up all my brewing equipment for several months.

But aside from that, I ski in the winter, boating and golfing in the summer, learning to fish and play guitar (not at the same time) and engage in various forms of alcoholism year round. Lots of beer, got a good grip on tequila, learning about whiskey, and rum is next on my list.

But hey, I'm always up for a new hobby! I always need new and inventive ways to spend money faster than I can earn it.

I was fortunate to find a girlfriend who likes craft beer and homebrew almost as much as I do, so most of my free time lately has been spent with her...

Yes! I've been slamming smallies and crappies on lunch breaks about a mile from work the past couple days! Seems like lots of us homebrewers are fisherman! Tight lines!

I sell big ass metal buildings to pay the bills and I actually like my job.

It supports my shotgun sports, hunting, fishing, gardening, and my free spending red headed wife.

Just getting into this Grand Dad thing and think it is gonna be a blast.

Have no idea why I brew, I seldom drink...hard to explain the two beers and 12 gallons of wine that are fermenting in my office. Wife says it's better than strip clubs or red sports cars....and she does drink, so what does she know?!

I sit on a chair, stare at a screen, press buttons and push a plastic thingy around on my desk. They pay me to do that.

Besides that and brewing, I signed up for classes in order to get a hunting license. It's bit more involved in this country than in the US, so if I'm lucky, I'll get my license in about a year from now.

Early Bronco rock crawler, guns, fishing and my boat take most of my free time and $, but I have pretty severe hobby ADD and dabble in a ton of activities intermittently.

At work I drive a cop car around all night while thinking about my hobbies.

I like to get really drunk on Wednesday nights so that I hate myself on Thursday.

For work I'm an estimator/apprentice/manager for a mechanical insulation company.
For fun I'm the Commissioner and Venture adviser for the 1st Westside Scouts. I like to drink my beer, cook, make sausage, jerky, real BBQ, grow veggies, play in the bush with and without guns.
I'm also a certified card carrying dirt spoon operator for my gold panning expeditions.

I love to tinker and build things. I enjoy woodworking and landscaping. I also like to cook and obviously I like to homebrew and built the equipment that goes along with homebrewing. I'm also recently married and the wife wants a baby, so that's a fun hobby of mine right now too.
