5lbs of two-row and .5lbs of carapils. Aaaannd they put them in the same bag. I had only planned on using 4.25 lbs of the two-row and .25 of the carapils. Haha. This is what I get for assuming they'd put them in separate bags. If I use it all this is going to be one big strawberry blonde. (2.5gal). I think I'll just shake well and use 4.5lbs of the mixture haha.

If you have a big enough fermentor and enough hops, you could just increase your batch size slightly. The carpils won't make much difference, just focus on th OG from the 2 row. Good luck either way. Cheers.

So, I decided to just use it all, 5lbs of 2-row and a half pound of carapils and 3/4 lbs of wheat DME. final gravity at 2.5 gallons is 1.060. ( first BIAB, poor efficiency, and I had to top up about 500ml of water. I can only boil about 3gal on my stove.). This is going to be a big strawberry blonde :) I'll be careful to be more specific in with my future orders :)
My blow-off pail started bubbling an hour after pitching. This might get messy :) Wooo

If it is too big for you I will drink it for you. I made a Belgian Wit that should have had an OG of 1.055 but it ended up 1.072. Mmmm.:mug:
