It's distributed all over the place in 5 states. I wouldn't call it a "turd" because I doubt it will last long anywhere and most stores will probably have limits, but it's a distributed "shelf" beer.

Ironically, it was much more of a turd a few years ago. The original batch "1st Anniversary" in 2012 was only 1000 or so bottles but I recall my local store got a few cases and they hung around for weeks. Mostly because no one wanted to pay 10.99 a bottle or whatever it was. Those days feel so remarkably quaint now. In 2013 we must have got 20+ cases here and it sat on the floor for at least a month. Then the past couple of years they've gotten maybe 2 cases of it, it's been marked up to $19 per bottle, limit 1 per person, and disappears in a day. I'm sure it will be much the same this year when it shows up.

I had it for the first time at DLD this year. I thought it it was really good. Thought maybe some shelf Schramms could pull a few bottles.

Sadly it seems everywhere is slowly turning into Florida. I can see why people leave the beer world/trading; too much bull **** and too many ass hats to deal with.

I agree that's a stupid post, but it's 550 bottles and 1 per person. (I'm not getting any, don't even live in Austin). I'm curious what people around the country would think is "fair" from their neck of the woods. For example, would you swap a Fundamental Observation 1:1? I get that the answer is probably lolnope, but why? (also note: not attacking CA or you at all, I love y'all, just trying to pick a somewhat reasonable datapoint from your area)
