One gallon carboy

I'm thinking of purchasing one or two of these for experimental and SMaSH brews. I know they don't hold much, but they're much cheaper than three gallon carboys. What do you all think. Waste of time?

I use 1-gallon wine jugs. The MIL drinks cheapo wine like the plane is going down, so I always have a ready source of 1-gallon carboys.

Go to the grocery store and buy a big jug of wine like this. Shouldn't cost more than 12-15 bucks. It's not great wine but it's good for cooking with.

i can get those 1 gallon jugs at my lhbs for $3, and the caps for .29. they take 5.5 airlocks, which go for about a dollar. i have 3.. i mean 2 of them (1 took a 7 foot swan dive onto the floor, empty, fortunately)
