When they shipped all the call center jobs to India, they had the locals take American names for the phones so they can seem more personable to us. Supposedly, we seem to be offended by names like Habib.

yea they also had their employees watch john wayne videos to learn american culture.
"howdy partner! how may i help your co mput er to day?"
"uh yea, it wont boot up right and i keep getting a blank screen"
"well that sounds like a ho down pa rt ener. have you pluggged it in sir?"
