I just did an extract 5 gallon batch of the White House Honey Porter. The OG is at 1.064???? Temp of batch was 68F. Only thing I did different was use 2# of honey instead of 1#. Any ideas/concerns?
Yeah, that sounds about right. Adding a second full pound of fermentable honey would push your OG up some. I didn't do the math, but that sounds fairly close. Will just be a tad bit "boozier".
