and most merch was stuff left over from pervious release, no new glasses for sale, and no xxl shirts in the old or new style. That brand runs small so having xxl for xl people is a must if he's gonna continue to use "canvas" as the brand for the t shirts. Sporadic was a limit to it said "member beer" but if guests were allowed to buy those beers I can see how they would run out pretty quick... The whole bring 1-2-3 guest I think will be an issue in the future esp for that space.
I'm a 5'10" 188 lb 33 yr old man. A large t-shirt should not look like body paint. My wife has two Transient shirts now.

Maybe it's the multiple glasses of dessert wine talking but what if for future releases we go all 1950s Mobile, Alabama and have a "members only" line and a "guests". I'm just spitballing here.
This has potential. Could you elaborate on what else could be done?

Beer Info from the release-

Sporadic #1- Open Fermented/Barrel Aged Wild Saison- 7%abv Brewed January 2014. This is a saison using spelt, oat, wheat, vienna and munich malt. A little bit darker in color, almost orange, with a firm acid profile.

Sporadic #2- Open Fermented/Barrel Aged Wild Saison- 5%abv Brewed in March 2014. Light, spritzy sour saison utilizing a large portion of unmalted wheat, for a rustic graininess. Similar grainbill to a traditional Lambic, hopped with whole leaf cascade harvested locally in a friend's back yard.

Also pretty cool to note:
With the raffle and your generous tips, we raised over $1150 dollar for the Muscular Dystrophy Association, far surpassing our last 2 release events.

That's a fantastic amount of money for that size event. Chris should consider crowd-sourcing more bottles and really getting after it at one of these. To raise that kind of money with King Henry, Prop, & a 4 pack of Enigma along with tips, I bet many of us have something in the cellar that could help raise money more than it would help our drinking habits.

(side note: Doug McDermott has missed 3 straight layups. Layups. Son. of. a. bitch.)

I feel like Chris tapped Sporadic #1 at the release despite saying it was #2, b/c that description doesn't match the one I tried at all. Maybe I got poured the wrong thing?

I agree with this.

I was a bit drunk though.

I bet most came from the tip jar...

am i the only one who thought pentameter was promising but needed time? full disclosure: only tasted on tap at release event, have not opened a bottle.

Tried it from a bottle and yes, Penta will only get funkier with age.

Count me in this group as well. Like Treebs, I won't be opening another till Summer.

Treebs,
Looked like you enjoyed the Oaked Obelus. Did it carb up fine, and is ready to drink?

Definitely with you on the draft. It seemed to have a lot of unfermented sugar in it. I'd hope it would dry out over time.

Looks like a malty beer that it running down the side of the barrel...
