Sporadic #1
Opened a Sporadic #2 (wine) last night. Woof. All sulfur.
Drinking Wine #1 right now and there is a very slight sulfur aspect to it. Definitely wouldn't have placed it without this comment though. It's almost entirely in the nose and just immediately before it dissipates.

Otherwise this reminds me a lot of a bigger version of New Glarus Berliner Weiss. Big white wine flavor. Really like it. My fiance just compared it to Snorkel and while the prominent flavors aren't that exactly, I get the connection. Very clean saison finish, leaving a nice effervescence.

The off scent is the only flaw here. Brilliant beer.

Had Sporadic #2 last weekend and not an issue. Was delicious. Grainy lemony and tart. Very very good.

Dregs went into some homebrew sours as well.

Anyone know when Buckley will be released and if it'll be 750ml?
Nothing official to my knowledge but after talking with Chris he strongly hinted that Buckley would be part of the next member release and "in a smaller format". Guessing 375 or 500ml. Not sure if there are plans to also do a public release in the near future.

Thanks, I've been wanting to try something from them for a bit now. Hopefully a membership opportunity opens up in June.

buckley coming out to the general populace in 375's in a few weeks, waiting on labels and a return from an oregon conference.

That'd be much better news if those beers came remotely close to central Kane County. It'd be a baller move if he dropped some extras at Beer Cellar for Reserve Society members ala Pipeworks FWB. If not, I'll just settle for drinking the 8 or so reserve society bottles that are backlogged at my house currently.

It would be great if they did something like that. I have a feeling i'm gonna miss out because I cant get someplace fast enough.

Oh well. As you said, so many other transient beers to keep me occupied til the next release.

Sporadic #2 Wine is ultra refreshing and enjoyable. More so after that Kane goal. There is kind of a Squirt-like finish so I'll give Rizdac credit there. The taste is citrus tart like grapefruit juice/soda. The smell isn't great. Like lacto & spent grain. Taste trumps smell.

We need TB Zubaz more than we need TB Glassware... Gene please...

Wait how did I miss this!!!! Gene lets do this!!!!!

Received an email about becoming an "associate" member today. It sounds like Chris has enough beer for 225 people for the next release, so he is allowing a few more members with the option to join fully during the next round. Now I just need to convince my wife that this is a good idea... Did they allow drinking in the Aquanaut parking lot last time or was it too cold for that?

I wasn't able to get there early enough, but I believe they held the bottle share inside before 11am since it was colder than a witch's *****.

Also, I emailed Chris and the event will be on May 31st. Just an FYI for anyone needing to make plans. I'm glad he didn't decide to hold it Memorial Day weekend.

given that my bottle sharing plans at DLD were cut due to the ****** weather, i will try and make it up there early enough for the next event to actually participate in a share. i'm also hoping that 5/31 will be warm enough that having an outdoor share at aquanaut isn't out of the question...

I think we can be confident that the next release/bottle share will be outside in line unless it chooses to rain that day.
