Sporadic and Buckley were both really good, IMO. Those were all I had because I didn't feel like waiting in line. I snoozed on the meat pies too, thinking they would last longer. I'll know better next time. The bottle share was fun, nice to have indoors but it did get fairly crowded right before 11. I think I met a couple of you but since I suck with names I've already forgotten who you are. I am a "face" person anyways, so if you have one, I will likely recognize you next time. Nice easy trade with nsh221 and met another friend on the way home for four bottles of CW 17. Overall a very good beer day.

Any confirmation that the storage locker dark lord guy was there? Also it seemed like JEG was fully integrated with the proles as I saw him drinking out of a plastic cup.

Picked up Dunt and arrived a little bit after 10. Drank beers with Thorpe429 and SecretSquirrel until the bottle line started at 11. Bottle share quarters were a little tight, but it was nice of them to let us in due to the cold. Can't wait for a nice weather release where they can utilize that huge grassy are right outside the brewery. Bottle pick up was smooth as smooth can be. I was slightly disappointed with the early sign up gift, although I can't really complain about a free gift. For those that didn't get it/see it was a heavy duty water bottle with the Transient logo screened on it.

Initially the draft line was a little intense, but after a while it seemed long while only taking about 10 minutes to get through so it wasn't bad at all. Buckley is the truth and Curvier was very nice. Rizdac passed out some nice Treehouse treats so thanks for that. I couldn't stay long (had to leave around 1:45) so I can't speak for the rest of the day, but I had a great time as usual.

Looking forward to the next one and can't wait to start cracking into the Sporadics and proper that new glass.

Edit: Also forgot that I got to finally IP Bang SSideTROLLer and I got to touch tips with jakeox while admiring the growth of his beard. Thanks for the pour of the OEC beer PHBoiler as well. Got to meet RedCoffee also. I think that about covers it.

Forgot to mention that at one point very early in the bottle share somebody (not sure if it was a Transient volunteer or someone from Aquanaut) brought us 3 bottles from test batches they were working on so we could try them. He said one was a wheat beer but didn't know what the other two were. We had a good time discussing all three of them.

Also I just realized I failed to get a water bottle. Which is odd because I kept noticing people with them throughout the day and didn't put two and two together. :(

Water bottles were only for those that paid at the November bottle release. If you are in that group, you win.

Anyone have Sporadic #1 or #2 tasting notes?

They put sporadic #2 (bourbon) on around 3. Reminded me of Peur with more acidity.

I might be too critical, but all 3 of those beers were downright awful

I thought one was decent, one was bad, and one was interesting. One of them smelled like yogurt.

I had a completely different experience as just about every (which is okay). I originally didn't think I'd make this release but last minute I was able to stop by for about 30 minutes at about 2:30. Sadly I missed everyone but a tipsy Dunt (hair was looking sexy).

Picked up bottles in less than 1 minute. Fast & efficient.

The place still seemed really crowded, the other releases died down after an hour or two, not this one. Bath line was the longest line, they really need another bathroom for that many people.

Draft lines were short by 2:30-3 but just about anything noteworthy was already tapped. And it was annoying that they kept beers on the taplist even after they were gone. I went through the line 2 times (the second time after Chris updated the taplist) and asked for Hop Drink. Both times it was tapped out. Take it off the damn list then :)

Food long gone, but I saw that coming, last release the meat pies lasted an hour.

Junta Whiskey - tasted boring. Wasn't the same as I remember. Anyone else get that? Not bad, just very muted and boring.
Legit Pale - what an ugly beer. Great hoppy nose but looked like sewage water. Taste was nice. Nothing spectacular, but enjoyable.
Minot Obsurity - Tasted like a homebrewed beer, and not in a good way. I'm not a good homebrewer and some of my beers taste better.

This isn't a complaint but worth pointing out that the merch table they sold almost everything. By 2:45ish all extra bottles were sold out except Oak Obelus. There also didn't seem to be much shirts/merch left except for bottle openers.

All in all it sounded like a great event and for what little time towards the end I was present I enjoyed myself.

Bummed I missed Buckley but really looking for it being a future release. I hope in 375mls and we get multiple bottles.

and most merch was stuff left over from pervious release, no new glasses for sale, and no xxl shirts in the old or new style. That brand runs small so having xxl for xl people is a must if he's gonna continue to use "canvas" as the brand for the t shirts. Sporadic was a limit to it said "member beer" but if guests were allowed to buy those beers I can see how they would run out pretty quick... The whole bring 1-2-3 guest I think will be an issue in the future esp for that space.

I really hope it's changed in the future. 1, maybe 2 people tops. It was way crowded and the draft line was super inefficient. I had to pee outside because the line was really long which was both shady of me and kinda cold on the frank and beans.

Junta was super cold and muted. I'm wonderin if that last keg was acidentially frozen.

Bottle pick-up was silky smooth and the two women running the table were as kind as can be. Glasses are top-notch. Can hold 8 oz it seems and are easily to hold. I bought an additional bottle opener. On both the openers the Transient logo is botched up. Makes it more 'rustic'.

Bathroom line, bottle tasting area, and the LONG draft line were negatives. The space is limited with how many people attended but I don't enjoy waiting in line when I can be socializing with others. I guess it was as efficient as possible. Seemed that the area behind the 'bar' where the taps were located was cramped.

I think the key would be to integrate the bottle share into the draft line
