beautiful pictures Gene! dem perfect pours on the first few beers...looks so good. looks like the handywork of jbuddle Speedwayjim (aka @speedwhalejim) - was a LOT of fun to watch along. any wild stories about navigating home? those NJ streets can be confusing after a big tasting...i learned that there is a penn station in NJ as well as in NY after one of those tastings.

Cheers! thanks for sharing!!!

What does a $10 TB#002 Glass from out that way cost over here in SoCal?

similar inflation rules apply?

Central Waters Exodus - kinda musty sourdough notes. tasty.

Oak Aged Yeti - did not like, weird smooth creamy component to it. slight nail polish?

Alewerks Bourbon Barrel Porter - smooth and creamy in a good way

Bourbonic Plague- very well done, big bold cuvee de tomme kind of notes but not sure it's my thing

Juliet - loved this. gonna put away for aging. reminded me a bit of blackberry young cable car

Halia - nice farmhouse with soft peaches. also might be a good candidate for the cellar

Stone Liberty Station - Lost City of Liquid Gold (El Dorado Single Hop IPA)- nice to understand the hop but
not something I'd use by itself. still tasty.

Abraxas - ****. dat abraxas doe. the best chocolate I've found in a beer with those awesome adjuncts in there just peeling it back like a 'mugg. love this beer, 2nd time having it.

The Wanderer (recent batch) - very vinous, not crazy acidic

Melange 1 - not too sure on this one, blending BT & oude tart seems like something to do when you have leftovers of a 750 of BT & a 750 of oude tart and are drunk and blend them yourself instead of something they bottle, I dunno - just my opinion, which really doesn't apply because if theres a 750 of BT around, there won't be any leftovers cuz of Markintiharing

Odell Friek - Nice bit of framboise & kriek. Kriek side sort of shone through more. Fruity sour, little to no funk right now.

Westbrook Grumpy Old Time - another one that kind of reminded me of CdT. first apple brandy BA beer I've had. glad to have shared this one, as I could not drink in large quanitities.

Citra Showers - I had my doubts but I think the hype on this is pretty real. very tasty IPA. not sure if better than Kern River Citra. personally **** both of those, it's all about the Kern River Citra casks with another hop added. i.e. Citra w/ mosaic. hhnnnnngggg.

09 BCBS - so smooth and nice, nothing takes center stage. just all around toned down and melded together like a bcbs lint ball aging for years in that crevasse in your pocket.

Backyard Rye - for me it was better than bramble but maybe just slightly below cherry rye. (I'm not one of the people that get cough medicine from this like others, I love it - like pumpkin latte/dr pepper bcbs
to me). Started out as fruit roll up bcbs but then turned in to somethig much tastier and awesome once it warmed up properly and I swirled it around a **** ton in my glass.

Proprietors - damn gurl, this one wins it for bcbs. really really really good. I want one to markintihar so badly. don't age yours, trade it to me. but really, delish. it wasn't overly coconutty like coconut speedway (which was still awesome) , just a nice deep coconut plot twist in the world that is bcbs

As always, fun times with good people. happy bday to Jeff, congrats B-rad on the news of Houston Bourbon County, and congrats to Alan for becoming internet famous not only here but apparently on the Perennial ceo's twitter. Looking forward to this weeks Izzy share.

The Izzy Tasting...

that turned into the Reuben Pizza tasting, that turned into the Reuben Wellington tasting, that turned into the Consecration batch 1 tasting, that turned into the CD6&7 tasting, that almost turned into the Beatification vertical tasting. here it is:

dat ambiance, dat curieux kegerator, dat horse head, dat Brazilian bottle opener, dat fearless leader aka my new landlord. fearless leader TBD against King Kang amk or our founder Chef Brad, we're in a game of thrones type thing right now. I kind of resonate with Aria if she liked cable car, blue dream, and was a peelback, I guess, but I could be a Khaleesi someday - maybe.

The pron:

shout out wscaffe you da best. this was shared with strangers met on the internet who are now friends. it was delicious. paying it forward coming soon.
