Good news everyone

A DANGEROUS MEETING is a barrel aged Belgian-Style dark ale brewed in collaboration with our good friends from @otherhalfnyc
It was brewed with Pilsner, Maris Otter, Munich, and an addition of Belgian Dark Specialty Malt. A large portion of sugar was added to the boil along with Magnum and EKG hops. After primary fermentation with one of our favorite Belgian strains, it was then transferred into Port barrels, where it continued to age for over a year with Brettanomyces. Refermented in the bottle with Brett. 10.2% abv
$17/750ml, 3 bottle limit per person

VESPER is a table beer conditioned with Brett. It was brewed with Pilsner malt, flaked rye, and wheat, and lightly hopped with Styrian Golding and Cascade. Vesper was fermented in stainless with one of our favorite strains of Belgian yeast and then bottle conditioned with Brett. 3.8% abv
$12/750ml bottle, 6 bottle limit per person

VERMOUTH GIN TABLE started as a blend of our wheat blonde sour base fermented in a combination of neutral oak wine barrels and @captivespirits Gin barrels. The blend was then transferred in to a combination of Red and White Italian Vermouth barrels and aged for a full year. Refermented in the bottle with Brett. 5.2% abv
$20/750ml bottle, 3 bottle limit per person

Those all sound increíble.

Not a fan of Belgian darks, but VGT sounds awesome. Guava Gin Table and Gin Table were both fantastic, so I've got high hopes for this one.

Relaxed down here. Got here at 1 to do some work and the line was just out the door. No line for pours or bottles now.

A Dangerous Meeting is... fine. It’s a lot of Bon Chien but with the acetic and complexity dialed back.

VGT is outrageously good. Very refined oak character and tartness, super drinkable but lots of layers. Not a big botanical bomb.

Wow! Thanks so much. Got the box yesterday. We're all stoked to try these beers, and hope to make it out your way soon. Cheers!

Awesome, I’m glad everything made it there alright. 4 of those are current release and Whiskers and Corybantic are two older wild releases. Hope you like ‘em...

Maybe not the right place for this, but I had a Wari the other day and the only thing better than the beer was the adorable bottle cap. Keep up the good work!

Okay I should have put that as ‘reminds me of’ (it was a bit of a throwaway remark to stop talking about release shitlordery) - for me there were striking similarities in the flavour profiles, both hop character and the expression of the barrel, but my palate is essentially ****** at this late stage.

I think it's gotten to the point where I need to view announced special releases as not being in any way attainable, and just buy the saisons no one cares about and try to trade for specific bottles using my dG and SARA memberships. I hate that it's come to this.

This is where I'm at after the Vermouth Gin Table release. There is always plenty of good stuff available at the taproom on regular days, and I can get my "rare beer" via Floodland now without a single ounce of insanity.

I bussed up from work with the intention of checking out the line; as I rode by at 11:50 I could see it from the street, which wasn't a good sign. Opted to sit at the bar and drink 2017 Deadfall, 2018 Deadfall, and Double Ron Hawaii on draft. Tasted a friend's pour of the peach beer, which was pretty tasty. 2017 Deadfall blew 2018 Deadfall away, imho.

Had I waited around, I maybe could've gotten bottles of Deadfall; other bottles sold out already. I did not expect this for a Friday–but I probably should've.
