A bunch of dudes in the original Catalina thread had been posting pics of a Jackie O's saison, Pockets of Sunlight. Sounded wonderful to me: "Saison brewed with honey, coriander & lemon verbena."

I mentioned, very casually, how I'd like to try that someday.

Friday, this happened, out of nowhere:

OldMetalGuy, I can't thank you enough for your generosity. To say I was beyond words is an understatement. Perhaps, I still am.

If this right here doesn't sum up what this site is about (aside from gifs), I don't know what does.

Second time I've seen these moonshine samples and OldMetalGuy in the same post. Look pretty interesting compared to the peach or straight I'm use to here in VA.

I've never actually had any moonshine (that I recall?). When it happens, though, this site will know. Apologies in advance. Haha.

Especially curious about the Cinnamon Toast Crunch.

Peach is the most popular flavor around me, sometimes we'll get lucky and get some quarts of straight and split it up into flavors.

It's nice going to the wood pile and finding a bunch of quarts left by the guys who pick up wood and leave them as payment.
