I didn't get a pour of the one that got opened a couple of weekends ago in Raleigh, but my buddy who did said it tasted like diesel fuel.

There were 3 of us that drank most of the bottle but a few other people tried it and I think everyone enjoyed it. I even set it up for failure because I told everyone it was probably a drain pour. My brother is pretty good at picking up off flavors in beer and he didn't detect anything off.

I walked into a store during lunch and the dude was unloading some Green Flash in one of the isles.

"Can I help you with anything?"

"Uh....did any Alpine come with that Green Flash?"

"Yeah, it's all right there (points to a case of Duet and case of Hoppy Birthday)."

"Cool, is that all you guys got?" He nods. "Ok, I won't bogart it all." I take 2 Duet and 1 Hoppy Birthday.

"Take all you want, the more you buy, the more we sell."

I awkwardly stand there for 10 seconds in contemplation. "How much are they? **** it, I'll take them all if that's cool. Oh and do you guys have any mead or De Dolle?"


Best thing that's happened to Indiana in a while. It's actually quite sad that this is my reality. Plan to split with my dad, but we'll see what's left after Sunday and I'll play it from there. He gave me x1 6pk of his last x4 case Zombie Dust haul so maybe **** him.
