Quick trip to NYC. A bit of an impulse buy, as I only had a soft sided duffel with me. But I was able to pack them in pretty good. Thanks to the good folks at Delta for not smashing them.

Another cellar find, 1976 bottles of kriek from Rene De Vits. From a cellar about 2 miles down the road from where they where blended and bottled back in the day and this isn't even the whole lot!

It's been quite a while since I've been this excited to get a box of beer, but today's delivery was something special. Thanks to Compton25 and the community on TalkBeer we were able to raise a fair bit of money for a great cause, and I've had my faith in the beer community restored, even if only temporarily.

Nothing too special in the scheme of things, but these just landed in Kona in the last week or so and I'm pretty excited. Wouldn't normally have sprung for the Vat 92 at $26, but the store is having a 25th anniversary sale - all beer 35% off! - so it wasn't too painful.

Don't know, I'm not super up on the lambic game. This store is pretty legit, they didn't have any of the other ones, and that doesn't seem like something they would do, but shrugemoji.
