So you guys are excited for a $60 glass that seems likely to shatter at the slightest impact?

It’s just such a pleasure to hold. The glass seems lighter than air.So you guys are excited for a $60 glass that seems likely to shatter at the slightest impact?
If the Whalecow glass is the Zalto, what’s the Keepers glassware?

I’ve heard the stem is actually quite strong... nevertheless, I’m sure I’ll be the first to break mine. I can’t really afford it and I’m basically out of space for glassware, but..... it’s damn pretty.
The complaints about the price of this glass all over Facebook are amusing. People keep bitching even when informed about the base price of the glass!
I really think that some consumers (and this isn't just beer) simply resent being "priced out" of anything. Like, if they can't afford it (or even if they can but don't assign enough personal value to it), they don't want anyone to be able to buy it. Then they hide this behind claims of "elitism" or something similar.
EDIT: Now to find a video on how to ship.
Can't speak for anyone else but one of the best things about dG was/is(?) the unpretentiousness and realistic pricing in a world of Side Projects, $40+ saisons, etc. Selling a super fancy and expensive glass, setting aside how much profit is built in (this part doesn't matter to me personally, again, can't speak for anyone else), just seems a bit at odds with the brand image that I've associated with dG.

How have they changed? One exclusive hand blown glass, which, while beautiful, nobody has to buy? Are they charging $20-$25 for 375ml bottles? This right here. I've had this feeling that de Garde has changed a lot in the last year or so. But, we probably created the monster. So there you go.
I've got plenty of glassware, I'd rather spend $62 on beer.

I see them as a brewery with extremely fair pricing, some of the most wonderfully down to earth and charitable people, who have a commitment to quality and whose beers have only improved over time. But some want to bring out the pitchforks bc of a handblown glass...
Keepers system probably due to the *********gery perpetrated by the mema and raffle dicks from other releases, keepers, anniversary parties etc...No pitchforks here, the multi-tiered secretive selection process for the new Keepers was kinda odd and the prices have started to rise up and some of the more affordable beers aren't made anymore. I didn't have an interest in joining so there's no animosity or jealousy or anything. Everyone is still super nice and it's clearly a business with the goal of paying their employees a livable wage and making good beer. Just random observations from a guy who goes to Tilamook once a year and buys the bottles when they hit store shelves in Seattle.

six bottles and three glasses? pretty sure the ratio is still ok.I’m a numbers guy, so per my earlier ‘glassware club’ comment, and leaving wishes outta the mix, here's what regular Keepers have had the opportunity to reserve so far, dollar-wise:
$96 of beer
$134 of glass
