Octoberfest? Newbie

I'm new here and so serious about this so please don't suggest an ip cuz already did that got most of equipment brew kettle with thermostat, wort chiller, bottles, caps, capper, carboy, cleanser, sanitizer, Octoberfest Lager kit good yeast. With it getting chilie out I figured this the best time for lagering! I'm located near Pittsburg. Have lots of questions! Can someone direct me into making this kit? And what else is needed? I also have the black star burner
