There is no way, as a fan of the game in general, you can sit there and honestly say that the entire situation isn't an absolute effin' joke.

The league did absolutely nothing but tarnish one of their biggest stars over absolutely effin nothing. They fought it and fought it in order to preserve Goodell's authority.... which... they are now talking about relinquishing anyway.

You obviously won't say it on THIS thread (and I don't blame you) but there is no way you're that stupid as to think this is the appropriate outcome.

Pretty obvious the indent is to make Tom push this all the way up to the Supreme Court. The justices just want a few seconds in his magnificent presence. Have him go over the final march in SB XLIX, tell a couple of jokes like they're friends, adjourn for a confidential recess while he shows them pictures of his hot wife on his phone that Goodell wanted to see, give a couple of high fives, sign a couple of autographs and head off on his helicopter to hang out on Bill's boat while they laugh at what happened.
