Can Pats fan stop trying to take credit for Brian Hoyer's success? It's retarded. It's almost as retarded as Jets fans taking credit for Sanchez's recent success with the Eagles. Consider how stupid that sounds. That's what you all sound like.

If the Pats really thought that Hoyer was such a great QB they wouldn't have cut him in 2011. If you're going to keep trying to take credit for Hoyer then own up to Cassell.

Had to let Hoyer go. It was the end of his rookie contract. Had to let mallet go, the end of his contract was coming. At least we got something for him.
I think both of those guys got a lot out of being in the organization. Remember, Hoyer was undrafted, Sanchez was first round.

If the Jets had Brady, would you keep a backup QB past their rookie contract and pay them good money?


Cassell they franchised and traded to get the value out of him. You probably don't remember all the talk that spring about keeping him and moving on from Brady. Cassell hasn't had a great team to play on since his trade.
