I have access to a lot of hops. But I only have so much oast space. I am better of picking the hops right before having space as opposed to picking in advance, correct? I have a fridge I could store them in as I wait for drying space, but I don't think a couple of extra days on the vine will matter. Thoughts?

My Chinook and Cascades decided to be ready this same weekend (dammit!)
But the oast works best with ~25 pounds or less, and the Chinook weighed over 20 pounds.
So I'm leaving the Cascades on the bines until the Chinooks are dried.
It's supposed to stay hot here the next few days so it shouldn't take long...

Cheers!
