Hi i have made a cider using :
13l 100% apple juice
2.75l 100% pear juice
1kg dextrose
25g galaxy hop ( dry hopped)
Fermented at 18oc
Now im cold crashing and sitting on oak shaving then im going to back sweeten with pear juice.
Now does any one have any recommendation how much oak to use. Currently i have 30grams in there. I didnt want it to be to strong as pear is a gentle flavour.
