I wanna soak 1 once oak chips for one week in Johnnie Walker Black Label 12 years . No bourbon available
1- Must I add the liquid too or only oaks ?
2- My 2nd fermentor is now 2 week aged . That will be ready for one week later ! May i have some problem for long 2nd fermention ?
OG was 1.065
after 2 weeks (2nd F ) was 1.020
and now it's four weeks aged .
3- What will happen if soak time get long about 60 days ? Is older better ?
