...but a newbie nonetheless...
Took the probably unusual path of winemaking[10yrs] to distilling[7yrs] and now finally getting my feet wet in beer/cider for the past year. I like the faster turnaround I can get with beer over wine & spirits. I've been enjoying making up different recipes for various seasonal beers, tho I don't think I have carbonation down quite yet.
Been working in restaurants/bars for the last 15yrs so I've had access to some good stuff all around and I try to duplicate what I like at home.
I'm a searcher/researcher in that I figure somebody's probs already asked my question a hundred times so no need to pollute a forum with more repeats if I don't need to. I joined mostly for the archives but hopefully be able to offer some help or knowledge down the road, as I have on other forums.
