I wanted the Reds to win (dad took us to Reds games when we were pups), but I have nothing against the Pirates (excepts for the whole Barry Bonds thing). The Pirates fans earned this one and I hope they win the whole damn thing.

Being overseas, I don't keep a close eye on sports back home but I always check in at the beginning of October to check to see where my team landed, happy to see that the great green and gold has taken another division championship!

Go A's. Now I just have to find a sports bar that will be open at 8am, so I can go buy breakfast and watch the game.

Well I have to admit that I'm ecstatic that the Olde Towne Team is back in the WS. After the debacle of last year you really have to take your hat off to John Farrell and Ben Charrington. Last years Sox team was as unlike-able a group of guys as I've ever seen. What a tremendous addition by subtraction getting rid of half the team, starting with Bobby V. I heard him on the radio last week and he had the nerve to say that he would have done just as well with these guys. Unbelievable hubris.

haha. Beltran stole a big one from Papi, but that was about it. Cards can't be that bad. I'm hoping they step it up tonight and make this a series. I'm rooting 100% for the Sox, but I'd like to see them sweat a little doing it.
