I'm kind of a brew supplies packrat, and keep enough grain, hops and yeast on hand for maybe a half dozen brews. I have a rough idea what styles I want to brew in coming months, just don't always have definite recipes formulated. When I'm about ready to brew I'll cobble something together and brew it. Sometimes, it just "what can I make from these leftover ingredients?"
It would be nice to have a bit of warehousing space for grains and spares and just decide as the mood strikes. I like options. My storage is pretty much my bar fridge and then gear and a tote in the mechanical room. I order my ingredients as kits for particular styles and then stuff them into the crisper drawers until brew day. My flexible supplies are hops and yeast because I order extras to get the total over the free shipping limits. So I’m usually 3 base kits in-stock and I’m able to mix it up a bit with hops and yeast if I want. The plan is to eventually have a brew space/cave/shop/lair/bar but probably won’t be in this house. Mama no likey stinky. I need some place detached from polite society.

In the meantime, check out https://greatfermentations.com out of Indianapolis. They are still living in the good ole days.
It's a good store. My daughter used to pick up stuff for me when she was in school in Indy. Saved me the postage whenever she was coming home. I would buy the order online and she would go there and pick it up. Always treated her great. Hope they can be around for many more years.

Always had good experiences with Farmhouse. Haven't tried Ohio, but good to know for future orders.

I'll add Ritebrew for those of us in the Midwest/Great Lakes. Prices are good and they get the order out the door in a day or two. Lots of shipping choices, and Spee-Dee is often the cheapest for me.
Ritebrew is my go to store. Always been treated good and shipping is always fast. I wish them well.

Haha, I wonder how many of us are doing that with them? Mine stayed in Indy after so we still do it. We were actually there last weekend visiting but had a packed day Saturday and couldn't make it in. My personal warehouse is stocked well enough to make it to our next trip anyway.

Had to add the "www" for the link to work.

I am liking the kits they have. Something different from the other places. Will have to get an order in with them! Thanks for sharing!
No problem. The link worked for me as-is on the PC in Chrome but not on the iPad with Safari. Hmm...
