First time posting, I started brewing extract kits on Jan. 1, and thanks to you guys the first tb brown ale kit is very drinkable now. My 2nd kit was a bb kolsch, that I bottled last week and not so sure about but will wait & see.
I wasnt crazy about the kit process, mac & cheese box brewing so I decided to try ag and make up my own recipe. I made a wort chiller and mash tun by researching this forum, and brewed my first ag belgian this weekend. It was a very much more enjoyable brewday and I even got 77 % eff. I was aiming for a 1.07 o.g. and hit 1.072 pre pitch using wlp400 and a starter. time will tell.
Thanks for all your help, and a great forum.
