I bought a Grainfather Conical Fermenter with a Pressure Transfer Kit. I was going to use this to transfer the NEIPA I have going to my keg. I just found out that the gas line that comes with the Grainfather Pressure Transfer kit is not an SAE standard size. I believe its 5mm ID. The closest SAE equivalent would be 3/16th (4.762 mm). If I get a 3/16th inch barb and somehow convert this to a 5/16th inch standard gas line - would that work? I am thinking that there would still be a gap between the hose and the barb (approx 0.2 mm)... not exactly air tight seal. Any ideas? Thanks.
