I've kept with the hobby of homebrewing for about three months now, and I will definately be sticking with it. It is an awesome hobby and sooo cheap compared to most other hobbies. Not to mention you get a buzz from it! Beer people are very nice people - I look forward to the events this year. The LHBS sponsors campouts and just outings and the like.


Thanks to all you guys on the other end of the internet for all your help and advice making me a better brewer. I figured I'd make the site a better place to live and pledge gold level. Kegging is not far away for me, then, dare I say...? AG? Oops I said it.

Ok thats the end of my Hallmark moment.

I used to live in fabulous Utica, NY. More cloudy/rainy days per year than Seattle!
That and the mental patients roaming the streets.... good times!

Biscuit, I know there is a HBS in either Ithica or Cortland. My sister in law is in Groton and got me a kit for Christmas one year. I would think Binghamton would have one somewhere.

Hey, sorry I did not notice anyone had posted here till today. The brew shop I go to in is Red Hook. Quite a drive for you as "upstate" covers a good chunk of the state.

I wish I could tell you that it gets better. My son just turned four, and the only difference now is that he's more articulate in his jabbering.
